PostNatal Care

Private postnatal care to guide you throughout your postnatal journey, at home or online.

I will continue to offer in-person postnatal care in London until Christmas 2026, subject to availability.

Following my move away from London at the start of 2027, in-person postnatal care will no longer be available. Instead, I will continue to provide online and remote postnatal education, advice and support, helping families navigate those important early weeks and months.

What is Postnatal Care?

Postnatal care is designed to ensure that both you and your baby are doing well.

I will provide private Postnatal care up until 10 days after your birth. However, I can provide further visits up to 6-8 weeks as an additional package.

During your stay in the hospital, you will be looked after by the hospital team. If you wish for a post-natal service from me, I will be your midwife and perform regular checks of you and your baby at home.

I offer services that can be used in combination with a consultant obstetrician, where I provide midwifery input, as well as after care support.

I will guide you throughout your postnatal journey, and your experience with me will include:

  • Postnatal support and clinical advice
  • Consistent guidance through WhatsApp and text
  • One to one home visits and online support
  • Birth trauma support, where needed
  • If any abnormality occurs, I will refer you to an obstetric or medical team

FAQs

Who provides my postnatal care?

If you are with me on a complete package I will provide your postnatal are as a private midwife.

If you wish for a private postnatal package only, I can provide you with that as a private midwife.

All women will be provided with a NHS postnatal service, should they not wish to uptake a private service.

"Jenny was also our midwife during our postnatal care. She flawlessly removed my stitches and made me feel at ease during the entire process of recovery. She gave me really good tips on how to best manage each day and also made sure I was keeping the right balance between my own care and my baby's. When taking care of our daughter we could truly see Jenny's passion come through. She was kind and detail oriented, which as first time parents made us feel we were in safe hands.

With years of experience under her belt, and an innate caregiving character, Jenny has the perfect balance between professionalism and passion. Our journey would not have been this amazing had she not been a part of it."

An Important Update from Jenny

At the start of 2027, I’ll be moving away from London, which means there will be some changes to the way I’m able to support families.

I am now fully booked for the remainder of 2026 and am therefore unable to take on any new in-person clinical midwifery care, antenatal care or labour support.

I can continue to offer in-person postnatal care until Christmas 2026. After my move, I will no longer be providing in-person care in London.

The good news is that I will continue to offer online and remote education, guidance and support across all areas of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care, so you will still be able to access my experience and support wherever you are.

I am deeply grateful to all of the wonderful mothers, fathers, partners and babies who chose me as their midwife, and will always remember the wonderful moments we shared together.

Please, keep in touch as my journey changes to an online approach to midwifery support. There will be more news about my services in due course, so please do keep an eye on the website for further announcements.
