FAQs

Who provides my antenatal care?

As a private midwife I can provide your continuity of midwifery care. This will be in addition to any NHS clinical care which you might require, such as seeing an obsterician, ultrasound scans, etc

Who provides my postnatal care?

As a private midwife I can also provide private post natal care, or you could have postnatal care provided by the NHS. I will always be happy to discuss the options available to you.

Are you insured?

As a private midwife I am insured by the Royal College of Nursing for antenatal and postnatal care. For labour care this will be covered by the NHS at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and I will be paid by the hospital as a bank midwife.

What are your qualifications?

NMC (nursing midwifery council), registered nurse, registered midwife, advanced diploma in midwifery, PGCEA and BTRT (birth trauma resolution trained).

"Jenny made my pregnancy and delivery of my second child a much more relaxing and empowering experience than I could have imagined.

The prenatal appointments with Jenny were something I so enjoyed and genuinely looked forward to as I felt her enthusiasm, positivity and calmness really helped me with pregnancy.

It was also so reassuring to have Jenny by my side during labour and delivery as she knew the right moments to step in and step back and I felt like she truly listened to and respected my wishes.

It was thanks to Jenny that I was able to have a natural and unassisted birth without medical intervention, which helped me find those first few weeks of life so much calmer and enjoyable than I had experienced with my first baby.

I couldn't recommend Jenny enough and, with her wealth of experience, any expectant mother to have Jenny as her midwife would be in the best possible hands."
